Ingrid Goodspeed has over 25 years’ banking and financial markets experience in the areas of treasury, risk management, compliance, investment analysis, economic research and information technology. And 6 years at National Treasury as a financial sector policymaker.
She is a Chartered Director (SA) and Fellow of the South African Institute of Financial Markets (SAIFM). She holds an MBL (cum laude), a BCom Honours (Economics) and an LLB from Unisa.

Peter Du Toit

Peter du Toit is active in investment analysis, fund managing and corporate finance. He retired from the RMB Group in 2001 to focus on various corporate interests including the establishment of REZCO Value Trend. He joined the Investment Analysts Society in 1970 and has been on their board since 1980. He held the position of Chairman in the mid 1980s and early 1990s.
Nomtha is an Analyst at Effectus Capital Management where she spearheads the company’s research capabilities.
She completed her BCom degree majoring in Management and Finance at the University of Cape Town in 2016. She has spent the last 4 years of her career at companies such as Ipreo (IHS Markit) and Coface before joining the ECM team in 2018.
Eben is head of the Absolute Return business at Absa asset Management; his experience is multi-asset investments, having served in the financial markets in various trading and asset management roles over the last thirty years. He also holds a position as an associate professor in the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at the University of Pretoria where he supervises postgraduate students and conducts research. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics.

Mark completed his auditing articles with KPMG Cape Town in 1995 and subsequently joined Liberty Asset Management (LIBAM) in February 1996 as an assistant portfolio manager
In 2002 when Stanlib was formed from the merger of LIBAM and SCMBAM, Mark became part of the research team covering major industrial companies.
Mark joined Avior Research in May 2008 as an industrial analyst (Diversified industrials, packaging and household goods) based in the Cape Town office from November 2008. At this stage he become actively involved in corporate governance. He also achieved recognition as an Industrial analyst in the Financial mail rankings.
Mark was actively involved in bespoke remuneration benchmarking analysis, assisting asset management clients with ESG policy frameworks, evaluating new management remuneration proposals and other client driven requests including BBBEE legislation. In December 2018 he left Avior to pursue consulting related work
In September 2020 Mark rejoined the IAS board having previously served from 2007 until May 2016 including time as Treasurer from 2008 till 2012.
Keith H Mclachlan
Keith built and still runs www.SmallCaps.co.za. After obtaining his articles at Pricewaterhousecoopers, he has a career approaching two decades focussing on investing in off-radar stocks and initially focussing on the JSE-listed small cap market. He established the small/mid cap research function at Standard Bank CIB before becoming a rated analyst at Thebe Stockbroking servicing the major asset managers . Nearly seven years ago, he moved across to AlphaWealth where he built and runs the Alpha Prime Small & Mid Cap Fund along with a range of other on- and offshore portfolios (and occasionally handles the odd corporate finance project).
